Family Life

Newtonbrook United Church’s Family Life ministry schedules activities for the entire church family that are held throughout the year. Events include:

• An annual potluck Advent dinner, held at the start of the Advent season. In addition to a delicious meal, those attending enjoy making crafts, singing Christmas carols, watching a play or song presented by the Church School, wrapping up with the ever-popular piñata.
• A late winter Spaghetti Dinner and Games Night at which everyone enjoys a wonderful dinner of pasta, salad, bread and dessert, and then joins in to play card and board games.
• Special events such as Halloween parties and picnics.

The ministry also assists with the organization of special Sunday activities organized by the Christian Education and Development Committee including Rally Day (a welcome back event in September) and an Easter Breakfast.
