Not-So-Youth Group
20-somethings to 40-somethings get together for social activities and lively conversation about 6 times per year. Newcomers and new ideas are welcome as the group continues to discern its mission within the congregation and beyond.
The group usually gets together at a member’s home and brings a pot-luck dinner. Activities always include relaxing, chatting, eating and having fun; occasionally they include singing and spiritual uplifting. Some group members have lent a hand to Newtonbrook United Church’s
Youth Group in their fundraising efforts towards planned youth retreats.

calendar.
“It is the part of a Christian to take care of his own body for the very purpose that by its soundness and well being he may be enabled to labour... for the aid of those who are in want, that thus the stronger member may serve the weaker member, and we may be children of God, and busy for one another, bearing one another's burdens, and so fulfilling the law of Christ.” ~ Martin Luther (1483-1546)
