MAKE THE CONNECTION:
Two of Newtonbrook's volunteers with Meals on Wheels and More

Over 35 years ago, Meals on Wheels and More was started from the kitchen of Newtonbrook United Church and is still active today with volunteers serving on the Board and committees, in the office and delivering meals. Newtonbrook is responsible for teams of runners and drivers on the first Monday of each month, as well as any fifth Friday or fifth Monday.

At this time we are looking for new volunteers to keep up our commitment to Meals on Wheels. A 2 hour time commitment between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. once a month is all that is required. Helping seniors to be able to stay at home and to live independently makes this volunteer work very rewarding, and a bonus is working with great people.
