"Aspects of Worship" Discussion Groups
WORSHIP is an integral part of the Christian Community. But each of us brings different life experiences and expectations of worship. This year, our ministers and members of the Worship Committee are offering a discussion series on the various aspects of worship.
Purpose: “To enrich our insights and understanding of the various components and variety of worship experiences through sermons, seminars, and sharing opportunities, and
to listen attentively for an understanding of what is meaningful worship
for the congregation of Newtonbrook United Church”
Format: Tied to theme/context of that Sunday’s Worship service.
Informal, inter-active discussions on various aspects of worship.
One hour, after Sunday Morning Worship Service @ 12:00 noon
Alternately, one hour Monday evenings @ 7:30pm
to listen attentively for an understanding of what is meaningful worship
for the congregation of Newtonbrook United Church”
